Scary Terry just entered the nightmares of every Golden State Warriors fan. Charlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier made a fall-away jumper on the baseline to beat the Dubs, who were without their superstar Stephen Curry.

In a night that was supposed to be about Curry's homecoming and face-off against LaMelo Ball, it was Rozier who stole the show.

With the game at a deadlock with 3.6 seconds left in regulation, the 26-year-old guard refused to prolong the contest and drained an off-balanced game-winner to give the Hornets a razor-close 102-100 win.

Rozier took his time with it, evading Warriors forwards Kelly Oubre Kr. and Juan Toscano-Anderson before gliding to the left corner. He threw up a high-arching fader as time expired, which found the bottom of the net.

Terry Rozier's shot was ruled a long two-pointer, but it didn't matter as his Hornets still escaped with the W. Scary Terry was hot all game, producing a game-high 36 points on an impressive 8-of-11 shooting clip from downtown and 12-of-19 from the field overall. He also scattered four assists, three rebounds and one steal in 39 minutes of action.

Some pundits criticized the Hornets for giving the former Boston Celtics back-up a three-year, $58 million contract last year. Safe to say he's been worth every penny and more, as he has more than filled the shoes left by Kemba Walker.
