J. Allen Brack is the former President of Blizzard and was the Executive Producer and Vice President for World of Warcraft. He was removed from his position in August this year, following the controversies around workplace harassment and discrimination at Activision Blizzard. Since his departure, we haven't actually heard much about him. His name would be brought up every now and then, especially now that the focus has turned to Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick. When he left, he was seen by critics to have been a scapegoat for other Activision Blizzard executives – someone that had to take the heat to get people off the company's back. Today, we explore J. Allen Brack's net worth in 2021 and see how his position in various companies, but mainly on Blizzard, helped him amass the wealth that he has today.

J. Allen Brack Career Timeline

J. Allen Brack has had a career in the gaming industry even before he joined Blizzard. According to Brack's Linkedin profile, he started out as an Associate Producer at EA in 1994. He would then leave EA after six years to join Sony Online Entertainment as a Producer, where one of his major projects was the Star Wars Galaxies game.

He then joined Blizzard in January 2006 as a Senior Producer, slowly climbing up the corporate ladder until he became an executive in 2013, where he earned the title he's most well-known for in the Blizzard community: Production Director and Vice President for World of Warcraft. He becomes Executive Producer by 2014 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2015. Then, in October 2018, Mike Morhaime would step down from his position as President, naming J. However, J. Allen Brack's tenure as President of Blizzard would be short-lived. On August 3, 2021, as the allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination in Blizzard came to light and public pressure was high for Activision Blizzard to do something about it, the company booted out J. Allen Brack. He was then replaced by co-leaders Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra. Jen would also leave later in the year, citing pay disparity between him and his supposed co-leader Ybarra.
