The Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 14 matchup pits them up against a division rival in the Tennessee Titans. The Jags are still searching for their first win since their upset victory over the Buffalo Bills more than a month ago, but face a tough opponent in the Titans. We take a look at this Jaguars-Titans rivalry matchup with some bold Jaguars Week 14 predictions in mind.

The Jaguars are reeling after a brutal beatdown by the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13, losing the game 37-7. Nothing went right for the Jags on either side of the ball, and the team will look to make significant improvements against Tennessee. After what had been a somewhat encouraging stretch for Jacksonville's defense, Matthew Stafford and the Rams bamboozled them with ease, racking up points and never stepping off the gas. The Titans present a less formidable challenge on offense, however, so it could be a prime time for a bounce-back game.

The entire offense is a mess in Jacksonville, but the running backs group is of particular concern after a costly James Robinson fumble saw him benched in favor of Carlos Hyde. Robinson will look to prove he's the workhorse back in Jacksonville this week, and he already has the support of quarterback Trevor Lawrence. If the offense can find a way to get some points on the board early, Jacksonville just might have a chance to steal a win.

With that said, here are four bold Jaguars Week 14 predictions for their AFC South showdown with the Tennessee Titans.

Jacksonville Jaguars Week 14 Predictions

4. Jaguars defense holds Titans below 10 points

Removing last week's abysmal performance from our minds, the Jaguars actually boast a very capable defense. We've seen them win the battle of the Josh Allens, holding Buffalo's potent offense to a measly six points, and could have similar success in Week 14 against the Titans. Tennessee enters this game averaging just 16.3 points over its last three outings. That ranks sixth-worst in the NFL — though it's still ahead of the Jags.

With Derrick Henry still on the sideline, the Titans will likely utilize the tandem of D'Onta Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard to command their rushing attack. Injuries to Tennessee's receiving corps will limit the threat presented by Ryan Tannehill, so if the Jags focus on the run, Josh Allen and Co. could prove difficult to overcome.

3. Trevor Lawrence throws for 300 yards

In Tennessee's last outing, Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones picked apart the secondary for 310 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Perhaps Lawrence can become the second rookie in a row to reach the 300-yard threshold against this defense. The Titans rank 26th in the NFL this year in terms of passing yards surrendered, allowing 256.3 yards per game. Lawrence has thrown for more than 270 yards in three games this season, one of which came against the Titans in Week 5. While the Jags still lost that game, Lawrence proved he can handle what the Titans' secondary deals him.

The results haven't been pretty for Lawrence of late, but he has proven to be comfortable against the Titans in the past. What better opportunity for the Clemson product to end his slump with a big game and his third 300+ passing yard performance of his career?

2. James Robinson has a bounce-back game with 150+ yards

James Robinson was not happy about being benched last week. His fumble against the Rams was a costly one, but the running back never got the opportunity to atone for his mistake, with Urban Meyer opting to roll with Carlos Hyde instead. Well, intentional or not, it looks like Meyer planted a chip in Robinson's shoulder, and that could play to the Jaguars' favor on Sunday. If Robinson is looking to make a big statement, what better way to do it than with a dominant game against a division rivals.

Last time Robinson played against the Titans, he had far and away his best game of the year, rushing 18 times for 149 yards and a touchdown. He's averaging over 100 yards against them through three games in his career, and he should have no problem reaching that tally against Tennessee on Sunday, especially now that he has something to prove.

1. Jacksonville stuns Tennessee to shake up the division

The Jags are out of the playoffs this year, but that doesn't mean they can't strike a Titans team while they're down. A Jaguars win would see the Titans fall to 8-5 and would mark the franchise's third consecutive loss, paving the way for the Indianapolis Colts to get back within striking distance. Tennessee had been running away with the division, but Derrick Henry's injury, plus ailments to A.J. Brown and Julio Jones, plus many others, have seen the team fall off of late.

The Jaguars' offense put up a good fight against Tennessee in their previous matchup, but Derrick Henry was simply too overpowering for the defense to contain. With the big fella out for this one, Jacksonville should be able to contain the Titans' offense and let their own guys put numbers on the board.
