Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew is dealing with a knee injury according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, but he added that it is considered minor.

Minshew seemed to be limping towards the end of the team's victory over the Denver Broncos so it makes sense he might be dealing with some sort of injury.

Minshew took over for Nick Foles in Week 1 after he broke his collarbone. So far as a starter Minshew has a 2-1 record and although his stats aren't super impressive he makes winning plays in clutch time.

In the last game against the Denver Broncos, he completed 19 of 33 passes for 213 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Minshew has been nominated for the NFL offensive rookie of the month award and it's hard to imagine he wouldn't win it.

Minshew mania has taken over the NFL but Leonard Fournette thinks he should have a different nickname.

“His name is Jock Strap King”

The nickname stems from the tale that Minshew does his stretching in the locker room in nothing but a jockstrap, which is quite an interesting picture to think about.

If Minshew's knee injury gets worse or doesn't improve enough to play it will be  Josh Dobbs who gets the start. The team traded for Dobbs in exchange for a fifth-round pick.

The Jaguars play against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday and no matter who starts for the Jaguars they will be facing a backup for the Panthers. Kyle Allen will get another start with Cam Newton still dealing with his foot injury.
