Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew appeared on a Twitch stream playing Madden 20 in part of an EA Sports promo. He learned that he had a '69' overall rating and he shared a funny reaction to learning that.

The season that Minshew has put together has exceeded even the wildest of expectations. After appearing in eight games and starting in seven games, he has completed 161 of his 260 pass attempts resulting in a 61.9 percent completion percentage. His throws have resulted in 1,976 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, and two interceptions.

It appears unlikely that Minshew will remain in the lineup after Nick Foles is healthy.  That is something that Minshew said he ‘can't really worry about' right now and he supports whatever it takes for the team to win.

“It’s something I can’t really worry about right now,” Minshew said, via Kevin Patra of NFL.com. “Every half-way competitive guy ever, you want to be the guy out there helping your team win, there is no doubt about that. But at the end of the day, we just want to win, and whatever we’ve got to do to make it happen, we’re going to do it.”

While Minshew's rating generated a funny response from the player himself, it seems that he is still underrated. It seems that he should have at least a 72 overall rating given that his statistics are comparable to players that have a rating that is in the low and mid-'70s.

The Jaguars are set to face the Houston Texans on Sunday.
