The Blake Bortles era with the Jacksonville Jaguars seems to be nearing its end, as the Jaguars are reportedly expected to sign Nick Foles once free agency begins, according to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Philadelphia Eagles tried placing a tag on Foles but he declined it to become a free agent this offseason.

According to the report of the Jaguars signing Foles, there isn't a big market for his services. There are plenty of teams who could use a quarterback this offseason.

The past couple of seasons, the Jaguars have been in need of a quarterback to match the production of their defense. Bortles has been incapable of providing them with enough to push the organization to a high-level.

This offseason finally seems like the time that the Jaguars are going to break up with Bortles. The Jaguars likely want to sign Foles due to his ability to elevate the Eagles the last two seasons.

Foles also brings Super Bowl experience to a team that lacks any playoff experience at all. It's uncertain if Foles can be successful outside of Doug Pederson's system in the NFL.

Foles has struggled everywhere he has gone—besides on the Eagles. For a guy that has never thrown for more than 3,000 yards in a season, it's hard for me to pay him over $20 million.

This is likely why there is a very limited market for the veteran quarterback.

It's a different situation for the Jaguars though, as they are desperate to find someone who can upgrade their quarterback spot.

Don't be surprised if the Jaguars also draft someone along with signing Foles this offseason.
