Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is at the team facility Wednesday but not practicing because of a back injury, which means his chances of playing on Sunday against the Denver Broncos are slim according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Ramsey missed Monday's practice with the flu, and it's unclear how long he has been dealing with the now reported back injury.

The All-Pro cornerback made it clear after Week 2's loss against the Houston Texans that he wanted a trade and even though the Jaguars have said they won't trade him, Ramsey isn't backing off the request.

Ramsey appeared on Uninterrupted's “17 Weeks” podcast and said some disrespectful things were said by team management and that's when he knew he needed to make a trade.

“Some disrespectful things were said on their end that made me definitely walk out and call my agent as soon as I walked out,” Ramsey said via ESPN. “And I told him, I said, ‘It's time; my time is up here in Jacksonville. I want to ask for a trade.'”

If Ramsey is hurt even a little, it makes sense he wouldn't want to play for a team that he doesn't really want to play on, especially since if he got hurt worse the team might not be able to trade him.

It makes sense the Jaguars want to be especially careful with this injury because if they change their mind and want to trade him if he is dealing with an injury, it could hurt his trade value.
