University of Kentucky pass rusher Josh Allen was considered one of the top defensive prospects in this year's NFL Draft, and he ended up going to the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 7.

The thing is, Allen played outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense at Kentucky, and the Jaguars play a 4-3.

That means Allen will probably have to line up as a defensive end in Jacksonville, but the incoming rookie does not have a problem with it and thinks he can fit into the Jags' defense just fine.

“I would rather go to a team that needs me, rather than a team that just thinks I am the best player,” Allen said, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com. “I feel like I can fit in this scheme. I feel like I can contribute a lot with my talents. I feel like they can use my talents. They know what I do best and they want to utilize that.”

Allen is coming off of a terrific senior campaign in which he racked up 88 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss, 17 sacks, five forced fumbles, and a couple of fumble recoveries.

“A lot of teams wanted me as a one-trick pony and I feel like I always strive to be great, but it would be hard because [being a one-trick pony] is not what I do,” he said. “I feel like Jacksonville will let me do what I want to do and they want to utilize my talents.”
