When running over an SEC defender while at LSU, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette looked like he could be the next great NFL back. Possessing a physical prowess similar to Adrian Peterson, Fournette can be a work-horse back, but through three games so far this season he hasn't exceeded more than 15 carries.

For a guy that was drafted 4th overall, you'd expect him to get more of a workload, and Fournette expected the same. Per NBC Sports' Cha has expressed his frustration with his lack of touches.

Fournette's bread and butter comes on the ground as opposed to coming out of the backfield as a passing threat, and although he is utilized in that format, that is not where his strength lies. Talking to ESPN's Mike DiRocco, Leonard stated his frustrations.

“It’s very frustrating. I want to . . . help the team as much as you can. I’m a running back first. I don’t mind pass blocking and those things, but I’m a running back first, so it’s very frustrating at times.”

Head coach Doug Marrone agrees with Fournette in terms of getting the 24-year-old running back more opportunities, and with an offensive line that will improve as players come back from injuries, there is a good chance that Fournette will get more looks.

With a rushing attack that ranks near the bottom of the league, Fournette will take every opportunity he can get as he has a tough matchup in front of him with Von Miller, Bradley Chubb and the rest of the Denver Broncos defense looking to stuff the running game this Sunday.
