Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer is currently making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The high-profile shot-caller is in the middle of an all-out scandal stemming from some salacious activity by the Jags coach. Meyer's wife has now taken to Twitter to make a rather shocking announcement amid all the drama.

Shelley Meyer announced on Friday that she has decided to delete her Twitter account for good:

For those that require context, Meyer was caught on video receiving a lap dance during a party following the Jaguars' Week 4 loss to the Bengals. To make matters worse, the 57-year-old reportedly skipped the team flight out of Cincinnati. Apparently, Meyer had to blow off some steam before heading back to Jacksonville.

Meyer has since apologized for his actions as he expressed his regret for being a distraction for his team. Based on his wife's statement above, it looks like Shelley is offering her full support for her embattled husband. As she said, we all make mistakes. Her husband is no different.

As for the Jaguars, they have been nothing short of terrible to start the new season. Superstar quarterback Trevor Lawrence has shown some flashes of brilliance here and there, but it has not been enough to get Jacksonville out of the 0-4 hole they are currently in.
