Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey called Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen ‘trash' in an interview back in 2018. Three years later, Ramsey now speaks in a different tone as he heaped praise on Allen this time around.

“He’s talented,” he said, via Eric D. Williams of SI.com.

“He presents challenges,” Ramsey continued. “Every week you have to face a new challenge, and this is our third week so we have to face the challenge of him and that Bills’ offense. He has some weapons around him. He can make plays running the ball and extending plays, etc, etc. . . . Kind of the things everyone knows about him.”

The third-year quarterback showed his improved form on the field this season. Allen led his Bills to a pair of victories in their first two games of the season thus far. He chalked up a total of 312 passing yards on 33-of-46 passes completed along with two scored touchdowns in their 21-17 opening day win against the New York Jets. He followed it up with 415 passing yards on a 24/35 clip with 4 scored touchdowns in their 31-28 triumph against the Miami Dolphins.

Meanwhile, Ramsey and the rest of the Rams are also heading to Week 3 with an identical 2-0 slate. A controversial ending in their opening day game against the Dallas Cowboys went their way and gave them a 20-17 victory to start the season. The Los Angeles-based squad also dispatched the Philadelphia Eagles in their second game en route to a 37-19 win.

A clash of undefeated teams is slated for Week 3 proceedings as the Rams visit the Bills on September 27.
