The Los Angeles Lakers once again lost to a non-playoff team on Monday, giving away a 110-105 win to the Memphis Grizzlies. This is the team's fourth defeat in five games, and their chances of making the playoffs are getting smaller everyday.

Former Laker and Spectrum Sports analyst James Worthy believes that there's some type of virus that has been affecting the purple and gold, which is the main cause for their struggles.

Worthy called out veteran guard Rajon Rondo, saying that he was a non-factor for the Lakers against the Grizzlies.

Rondo's primary role as of late is to help the second unit become more productive. He hasn't been able to do that, as the entire Lakers bench was outscored by the Grizzlies reserves 33-7.

Let that sink in, seven points.

In addition, the Lakers committed 17 turnovers and allowed Memphis to grab 18 offensive rebounds.

Brandon Ingram led the Lakers in scoring, finishing with 32 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists. LeBron James notched a triple-double with 24 points, 11 boards, and 12 dimes, while Kyle Kuzma added 22 points. Aside from them and somehow, Reggie Bullock (14 points), everybody struggled against the Grizzlies.

This would have been a perfect opportunity for the Lakers to inch closer into a playoff spot, as the San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings also lost on the same night. Instead, they're now in the 11th spot in the Western Conference.

There's still a chance for them to make the playoffs, but whether they will be able to get together as a team or not, remains to be seen.
