The Los Angeles Rams were overlooked by many heading into the season but they continue to prove the naysayers wrong as they cruised to a 2-0 start. The offense was spearheaded by quarterback Jarred Goff who had an efficient outing going for 158 yards and two touchdowns during their win over the Philadelphia Eagles. But he was especially hot to start, flirting with absolute passing perfection.

He shared that none of his teammates wanted to jinx his good start and didn't want to celebrate with him after touchdowns.

“I didn’t know how many,” Goff said. “[My teammates] were joking around with me like, ‘Hey, we’re not going to talk to you,’ like when a pitcher is throwing a perfect game. I didn’t know how many I had, but I knew I had not thrown an incompletion yet.”

After surviving a nail-biting encounter against the Dallas Cowboys on their home opener in Week 1, the Rams continued to prove that they were no fluke. Sophomore running back Darrell Henderson led the ground attack as he chalked up 81 rushing yards on 12 carries and a scored touchdown. The newly-extended wide receiver in Robert Woods also contributed 19 rushing yards on 3 touches and a touchdown.

Tight end Tyler Higbee was a favorite target for Goff all throughout the day as he ended up with 54 receiving yards on 5 receptions and 3 touchdowns to widen the deficit for his team. The game eventually concluded in a 37-19 winning effort by the Rams. The Los Angeles-based squad is set to visit the Buffalo Bills with their undefeated record at stake on September 27.
