Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert suffered a bit of a scare in Friday night's game against the Miami Heat after Dion Waiters dove for the ball and collided with Gobert’s leg, awkwardly twisting his knee. Gobert had to leave the game momentarily to get checked out in the locker room, but he was able to return and finish the game.

After the game, though, Gobert threw some shade on Waiters as he replied to a posted video of the incident on Twitter, questioning whether Waiters actually intended to dive for the ball or had more dastardly motives.

Gobert is no stranger to starting Twitter beefs. He went into it with Isaiah Thomas during the summer because of the Gordon Hayward recruiting situation. He’s also had one going with Waiters’ teammate, Hassan Whiteside, although he claims it isn’t that serious of a rivalry.

For Gobert to say Waiters had intentions of hurting him by doing a dirty play like crashing into his knees is quite an accusation to levy against Waiters. Waiters may be a lot of things, but he doesn't appear to be the type to purposefully hurt another player.

While the way Waiters fell into Gobert’s legs did look a bit awkward, Waiters at least deserves some benefit of the doubt. Either way, stay tuned to social media if either Waiters or Whiteside decides to respond to Gobert’s shady tweet.
