Joc Pederson came up with a huge go-ahead single in the 7th inning, giving the Los Angeles Dodgers a 6-5 lead over the Tampa Bay Rays.

With the score, Pederson becomes the first Dodger to make a go-ahead pinch hit in the World Series in over three decades.

The hit provided Los Angeles with 2 runs, giving them the lead late in the game.

Dodgers fans must be feeling relieved that Los Angeles failed to trade the 28-year old back in February. A deal that could have sent the outfielder to the Los Angeles Angels fell through in the last minute. More than eight months later, the man they almost tried to trade is about to inch them closer to winning the World Series.

Tune in for the wind up in Game 4 as the Dodgers look to take a commanding 3-1 lead.
