Joel Embiid hasn’t played an NBA game yet due to various injuries. He apparently is taking out that frustrating on poor unsuspecting children.
Just kidding – sort of.
Embed ruthlessly blocked a kid’s shot at a 76ers event. It was all in good fun though, and it is probably a block the young fan will remember for the rest of his life. The kid also display a few nice moves before getting the vicious block by Embiid, so maybe this will motivate him to work on his game even more.
Embiid isn’t the first Sixers player to pull this off. Last summer, Jahlil Okafor did the same.
Two peas in a pod. Perhaps they’ll have the same chemistry on the court next season when they finally get a chance to play together.
