Kevin Durant‘s unreal wingspan was in full effect on Monday night against the San Antonio Spurs, making the most of his spider-like limbs to erase a Dejounte Murray transition layup — not once, but twice.

Upon retrieving a lost ball from Stephen Curry, Murray was out to the races, with Durant trailing from the opposite lane, only to erase the rookie's left-handed attempt with his right, then his left hand upon his descent.

Durant has tapped into maximizing his defensive potential this season under the tutelage of assistant coach Ron Adams, the defensive mastermind behind the Golden State Warriors lauded switch-heavy defense.

If he can keep up his play at the other end just as good as he has been on offense, there's sure to be more highlights like this one in the near future.
