New York Knicks forward Julius Randle had a rather shaky 2021-22 season, but by the looks of it, he's gearing up well for a potential bounce-back campaign.

On Twitter, a photo of Randle is going viral–and for good reason. The All-Star forward can be seen looking leaner and in better shape compared to the previous campaign, which is clear proof that he has put emphasis on getting his body stronger.

Julius Randle averaged 20.1 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game, all down from his All-Star year in 2020-21 when he put up 24.1 points, 10.2 boards and 6.0 dimes. While he was still the Knicks' best player, he was inconsistent and looked out of sorts for the most part.

Of course Randle is not one to blame for the Knicks' struggles in the past season, but there is no doubt his lackluster play didn't help New York in their attempt to get back to the NBA playoffs.

The Knicks finished the season with a 37-45 record, finishing 11th in the East and totally missing out on the postseason–not even making it to the play-in.

It remains to be seen if Randle will remain with the Knicks in 2022-23, especially amid talks that the team plans to shake up the roster. However, it is quite clear that the 27-year-old is raring to silence his critics and prove to everyone he still got it.
