While most NBA teams have already filled their rosters and are now done with their signings, the New York Knicks still made one during their season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The team recently came to terms with free agent forward Isaiah Hicks on a two-way deal, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Hicks was undrafted this year after his stint at North Carolina. He was invited to be part of the Charlotte Hornets' training camp, but did not make the final cut. However, the Knicks were impressed enough with his skill set, that they are giving him another shot to be part of the NBA.

The 23-year-old is expected to suit up for the Westchester Knicks of the G-League, where he can get additional workouts and gain more experience. Despite being a tad bit undersized for the power forward position, he makes up for it with his speed, and great timing, allowing him to have some advantage against bigger, heftier frontcourt players.

Should the Knicks have a need for a forward in the future capable of rebounding and scoring near the basket, they can look into adding Hicks, depending as well on his performance in the G-League.
