Phil Jackson parting ways wit the New York Knicks this past season was probably for the best, as he managed to exile some of his key players in the media, namely Carmelo Anthony.

But it seems Anthony has also jumped ship, but he found a new home in Oklahoma with the Thunder. Now Anthony will join Paul George and Russel Westbrook for what they hope to be a title-contending run this upcoming season.

Jackson has caught wind of this recent blockbuster trade and tweeted out a statement out it, only to delete it soon after. Luckily, the Space Jame Content Twitter page managed to retrieve a screenshot of Jackson's statement in case he decided to take it down.

If anything, at least Jackson has the best wishes for Anthony. The two worked together for plenty of years, and letting their meltdown in New York City ruin their relationship off the court wouldn't be ideal.

If it does indeed work out for both parties, we may see a new Western conference championship team.
