New York Knicks big man Bobby Portis was sent packing during the second half of Wednesday's game versus the Washington Wizards after tossing the ball in the direction of point guard Shabazz Napier as both players were heading toward their respective sidelines.

Napier appears to say something in the direction of Portis initially, which prompted Portis to lob the ball in his direction. Prior to getting run, Portis logged seven points and seven assists across 15 minutes off the bench.

But there was something in the air at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday as Wizards big man Moritz Wagner was also tossed early due to a second technical foul against the Knicks, which led to him sprinting off the floor and heading straight to the back. With both teams still holding slim chances at snagging a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, tensions were clearly ramped up Wednesday.
