Kang “Blank” Sun-gu spent the last two years of his career playing in the Japanese League of Legends region for Sengoku Gaming. He now makes a valiant return to his home league after being picked up officially by KT Rolster. Blank may have been quiet for the past two years but he is still a former world champion Jungler. The Korean Jungler famously played for SK Telecom T1 in the past up until their failure to qualify for the 2018 world championships.

KT Rolster is seemingly covering all its bases with its 2021 roster. Blank joins 12 other professional players in a fully-stacked lineup. He is so far the only former world champion among the numerous players on the team. It's unclear at this point just how much playtime Blank will receive considering there are three Junglers in the team. Regardless of the overwhelming abundance of manpower, Blank's experience as a veteran and a world champion will definitely benefit his teammates.

The once-dominant KT Rolster finished 2020 after a string of dismal performances. The organization is undoubtedly looking to recapture its former glory by rebuilding most of its lineup and picking up talent from all walks of the league. It will be definitely interesting to see how well KT's unorthodox roster decisions will turn out.

It's the perfect time for Blank to return home to the LCK. The region has finally reclaimed its spot as the best League of Legends region after DAMWON Gaming claimed the Summoner's Cup at Worlds 2020. It may have been around two years since Blank last appeared in the LCK but he remains a credible threat for any team in the region.
