Things are getting juicy between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns — both on and off the court. Suns forward Jae Crowder just gave his stamp of approval on a tweet claiming that Anthony Davis' championship ring with the Lakers last season is nothing more than a fake.

A random user on Twitter posted an image of a diamond ring being authenticated while also tagging the Lakers star. Crowder somehow caught wind of the post and decided to give it a like (h/t Peter Dewey of Lakers Daily):

Lakers, Anthony Davis, jae Crowder

The tweet did not exactly specify the rationale behind the fake ring allegation, but it would probably be safe to assume that this is in reference to the notion that the Lakers' title run in the bubble is not viewed by some as a “real” championship given the unprecedented circumstances surrounding the same. It could also be a knock on Davis' decision to join LeBron James in LA to form a powerhouse duo just to chase that chip. Whatever the case may be, Jae Crowder seems to like the idea.

There might be a bit of bad blood between Davis and Crowder after the first two games of this first-round series have had no shortage of intensity. In Game 2, AD was actually called for a flagrant foul for kicking Crowder in his nether regions. The Suns veteran might still be feeling the ill effects of what looked like a painful groin hit when he decided to discreetly air out a bit of his frustration on the mean streets of Twitter.
