The newest member of the Los Angeles Lakers, shooting guard Danny Green, says he had no idea where Kawhi Leonard was going this summer despite keeping in touch with the two-time Finals MVP.

Leonard signed with the Los Angeles Clippers and was able to convince Paul George to request a trade to LAC from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Green agreed to join the Lakers after Leonard left the Toronto Raptors.

Danny Green is reuniting with LeBron James on the Lakers. The two were teammates on the Cleveland Cavaliers during James' first stint with the Cavs.

Green signed a two-year, $30 million deal with the Lakers. This past season for the Raptors, the guard averaged 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists while shooting 46.5 percent from the field, 45.5 percent from beyond the arc and 84.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Green will stretch and space the floor well for the Purple and Gold. LeBron and Anthony Davis constantly draw double teams when they're in the lane heading to the basket. Green is a career 40.4 percent shooter from the 3-point line.

It's going to be fun to watch the Lakers and Clippers play in 2019-20.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis vs. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will battle it out to see which duo reigns supreme in Los Angeles.
