Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, one of the greatest QBs to ever play in the NFL, greeted Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James for his 36th birthday.
Brady's tweet reminded fans that age is just a number and it does not have to stop anyone from being great:
LeBron James, a four-time NBA champion with three different teams, has proven that he can be as competitive and great as he was in his youth. Now in his third season with the Lakers, James is on a mission to go back-to-back.
Off to a relatively slow start, with the Lakers 2-2 in their first four games, James is expected to lead the Purple and Gold to another NBA Finals appearance.
As for the well-wisher, Tom Brady helped the Buccaneers clinch a spot in the NFL postseason for the first time since 2007. Regardless of what seed the Bucs are this postseason, Brady is ferociously eyeing that seventh ring.
Brady and James continue to show the youth of the NFL and NBA that they are not washed up and are ready to go for it all season after season. They continue to inspire people all around the world to dream big no matter what age.
These two GOATs are going to continue to lead their teams to victory in their respective crafts. They will settle for nothing short of greatness and no one will tell them otherwise.
