Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel heaped praise on Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's big-time buckets in their Game 4 victory over the Miami heat.

Per Lakers reporter Mike Trudell, Vogel gave Caldwell-Pope a shoutout for his courage to take and make those critical baskets.

Below are Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's crucial baskets for the Lakers. The Heat seemed to have the momentum and was poised to snatch the win away. But lo and behold, Caldwell-Pope knocked down a short-corner three followed by a lay-up with the shot clock about to run down. This gave the Lakers a safe seven-point cushion with two minutes left in the game. Caldwell-Pope finished with 15 points, three rebounds, and five assists.

This is definitely a welcome sign for Lakers fans. To recall, almost every single Purple and Gold die hard hated Caldwell-Pope's guts at the beginning of the season.

It was in large part due to his inconsistent play. There are games where he performs extremely well. But then he goes on a bad shooting streak all of a sudden. But Vogel and crew have continued to trust Caldwell-Pope and the things that he brings. Apart from being a legitimate threat on offense, Vogel has praised KCP's defense and energy.

Thanks to KCP's big buckets down the stretch, the Lakers now have a commanding 3-1 lead over the Heat. But as LeBron James said, the job is not yet done. The Heat are a gritty and well-coached team very capable of pulling up the upset.

Game 5 will be on Friday. Will the Lakers win the title? Or will the Heat remain alive?
