While Rajon Rondo may have a bit of a tough guy reputation, it's also true that the Los Angeles Lakers veteran is also one funny dude. This is one of the things that his former teammates missed about him while he was away last season, and this fact is also exactly what made Rondo tear up during a recent press conference.

A reporter mentioned that LeBron James and Anthony Davis missed Rondo last season, and Rajon's reaction was pure gold:

Rondo hilariously started fake crying when he was told that his buddies missed him in LA last season. Well, technically, the four-time All-Star was still in town last year after the Atlanta Hawks traded him to the LA Clippers mid-season. Then again, the fact that Rondo was suiting up for the Lakers' bitter cross-town rivals probably made it worse for LeBron and Co.

What's important now is that Rondo is back with the Lakers. Joking aside, the Purple & Gold did actually miss his veteran presence last term. Now that he has returned, Rondo isn't expected to play heavy minutes on a nightly basis for head coach Frank Vogel, but there's no denying that the 35-year-old will be an integral part of the Lakers in 2021-22.
