The LeBron James vaccination drama appears to be all but officially over. During Los Angeles Lakers Media Day, The King announced that he's been vaccinated.

How do we know this? Tickle me glad you asked. ClutchPoints' own Lakers beat reporter Michael Corvo relayed the information to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter.

The Lakers, who Anthony Davis said he believed to be fully vaccinated, are expected to be fully vaccinated on opening night.

“We’re excited we gave ourselves another opportunity to be available for each other,” LeBron James said during the Lakers scrum and plethora of interviews.

This is, obviously, a pivot for James. He was previously pretty private about his stance on COVID-19 and the vaccines freely available to folks in the United States.

On the flip side, you have people like Third-Eye Kyrie Irving who are wanting to keep these things “private” and the like — because, ugh, I don't know. However you look at it, even if you want to pretend this isn't about the community more than it is the individual (it is 100 percent about COMMUNAL safety), it's also a basketball issue, as the man who once championed flat earth (lol) could miss Brooklyn Nets home games.

Anyway, LeBron James and the Lakers are now unofficially better than the Nets since they won't face this issue.
