The comparisons between LeBron James and Tom Brady are constant. Both are regarded as up there as the best of their respective sports and both have left a long-lasting legacy and impact. But could LeBron get one up on his fellow GOAT by joining Brady at his own game?

According to three-time NFL Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen, it wouldn't be as difficult as some might think. Olsen said in an interview on The Colin Cowherd Podcas he could turn LeBron into an All-Pro wide receiver in just 12 months.

Olsen, who played 14 seasons with the Chicago Bears, Carolina Panthers, and Seattle Seahawks, was asked who among the NBA players he could turn into NFL stars and emphatically answered that it would be LeBron (via TMZ sports).

“If I could coach LeBron James for one year, I could make him an All-Pro wide receiver. There's no question in my mind.”

Olsen also singled out Washington Wizards star point guard Russell Westbrook as another player he could see being developed into an NFL star.

“I could turn Russell Westbrook into an All-Pro free safety. There's a handful of those guys that could make the transition just because they are so unique, but there's few and far between those guys.”

It is well known that LeBron had a possible future in football. He played as a wide receiver for St. Vincent-St. Mary's football team and made the All-State First Team in his sophomore year.

In 2011, LeBron James was offered a contract by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to play for them while he was out of work due to the NBA lockout, to which The King admitted he “gave a lot of thought.”
