ESPN's senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski just dropped a massive bomb pertaining to LeBron James' future with the Los Angeles Lakers.

In a bombshell report that was published on Friday evening, Woj revealed that LeBron's agent and KlutchSports CEO Rich Paul met with Lakers general manager and vice president for basketball operations Rob Pelinka, as well as team owner Jeanie Buss on Tuesday to clear the air, so to speak.

According to Woj's sources, the objective of the meeting was to let upper management know that contrary to rumors that have been circling, LeBron does NOT want Pelinka out of LA. Moreover, Paul also reiterated his client's desire to remain in Hollywood.

In the meeting, Rich Paul reportedly made it abundantly clear that “there's no movement underway to seek management changes and that [James] believes there's a shared accountability for the franchise's disappointing season.” Moreover, Paul sent a straightforward message to Pelinka and Buss that “James' primary objective is remaining a Laker and the goal now ought to be to finish the season as strong as possible and then regroup in the offseason on ways to improve the team.”

This meeting comes in the wake of LeBron recently saying that he hasn't closed the door on a potential return to his beloved Cavs. James then followed that revelation up by declaring that he would be willing to join any team in the league that ends up drafting his son, Bronny, once he becomes eligible. Unsurprisingly, this fueled rumors of LeBron already preparing for his Lakers exit in the offseason.

As it turns out, however, these are nothing more than hearsay. LeBron James remains committed to the cause in LA, in spite of the troubles they have faced throughout the season. For now, LeBron isn't going anywhere and he appears to be completely focused on finishing the season strong.

The Lakers are in action on Friday against their cross-town rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers. James has been tagged as questionable for that matchup due to a sore left knee. However, the general belief is that he will suit up. Needless to say, all eyes will be on him.
