For those who were born in the 1980s then the name Macy Gray should, at the very least, ring a bell. As for the younger folks out there who have no idea who she is, Gray is an American R&B star (or maybe she was) who rose to fame in the late 90s. The 54-year-old also made headlines of late after hilariously calling out Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James on TikTok.

First, some context. Gray performed the National Anthem during the recently-concluded All-Star Game, which caught some attention after LeBron was seen trying to hold back his laughter during Gray's performance. The Grammy Award-winning artist has now decided to jump on TikTok to question LeBron's actions:

Gray wasn't being aggressive with her call-out. As a matter of fact, she was asking her audience if they thought that LeBron was actually laughing at her. She also said in her caption that she'd heard that “he wasn't.”

The Lakers star hasn't commented about the issue but some are saying that LeBron was just joking around with Stephen Curry.

Whatever the case may be, this is still a far cry from that unforgettable National Anthem rendition by Fergie during the 2018 All-Star Game. You knew we just had to throw this out there, right?

Now there's no doubt whatsoever about that being a complete disaster.
