It was another forgettable outing for the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. The Warriors suffered another blowout defeat, this time at the hands of the surging Los Angeles Lakers, 120-94. Nonetheless, Dubs point guard and former Laker D'Angelo Russell could not help but immortalize his unforgettable moment during the game when he dunked the ball on LeBron James.

Russell took to Instagram to share a perfectly timed photo of himself throwing one down against LeBron — something that both James himself and Lakers teammate Kyle Kuzma took notice of:

LeBron James, D'Angelo Russell

James played along, but also took a shot at Russell by saying that the young Warriors guard hurried his dunk just to be able to avoid LeBron's block attempt. As you can see in the photo, James was indeed late on the challenge, and Russell already had a clear path to the rim.

As for Kuzma, he was a bit more straightforward with his response:

Kyle Kuzma, D'Angelo Russell

In his comment, Kuzma appears to have completely brushed off Russell's noteworthy jam. Perhaps what the Lakers third-year forward had in mind had something to do with how his team completely dominated the Warriors in their matchup, leaving no doubt as to who eventually came out on top in this one.

To be fair to Russell, though, he was once again the lone bright spot for the Dubs, logging a team-high 21 points (on 6-of-13 shooting), two rebounds, eight assists, a steal, and a block in 31 minutes of action. His heroics were far from enough, however, with both LeBron (23 points, six rebounds, 12 assists) and Kuzma (22 points, three 3-pointers) leading an Anthony Davis-less L.A. side to an easy victory against Golden State.
