Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and his wife Savannah celebrated their eight-year marriage anniversary on Tuesday. You know The King had to take to social media to acknowledge the special day.
James posted a heartwarming “Met Gala” inspired message on Instagram to the mother of his children:

Several former teammates of LeBron James also commented on the post, including J.R. Smith and Dwyane Wade. The couple has been together before the Lakers star even became a household name in the NBA. They're high school sweethearts who first met as teenagers in Akron, Ohio, and have gone on to build a beautiful family with three children named Zhuri, Bryce, and LeBron “Bronny” James Jr.
They got engaged in 2011 and eventually tied the knot in 2013 in a beautiful wedding in San Diego, where many celebrities were in attendance. I'm sure LeBron James' family is pleased they're able to spend lots of time with him right now before he gets back to business on the court, where the Lakers will be looking to make another title run.

Congrats to Bron and Savannah on their anniversary and here's to many more years together. LeBron has created a remarkable and wide-ranging legacy, making a significant impact on and off the court and trying to find a larger voice on a wide range of issues and causes. His marriage is a cornerstone of his life, a big reason he has been able to achieve so much in his life.
