After winning his fourth NBA title and also his fourth Finals MVP trophy, it's almost impossible to ask for anything else. But after 17 glorious seasons in the league, LeBron James wants one more d*mn thing. It's respect.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar had to go off script and and went NSFW in his Finals MVP speech to tell the world to put some respect to his name.

“I want my d— respect, too.” James said (per Ben Golliver of The Washington Post).

The LeBron James slander will probably need to rest for at least a few weeks as he was able to silence his haters once again with yet another impressive season and capped it off with another pair of shiny trophies. At 35, James has managed to lead his third NBA team to the promised land and he did it in a way nobody else could. In their NBA Finals series against the Miami Heat, James tallied an incredible average of 29.8 points per game, 11.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists.

On their title clinching game on Sunday,  the 16-time All-Star had his first triple-double of these Finals with another one of his historic all-around performances. He ended Game 6 with 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. His 28th career playoff triple-double and 11th in the NBA Finals.

Though James had solid contributions from his partner in Anthony Davis and also some key production from the Lakers' supporting cast all-throughout the playoffs, it was the 35-year old who made sure that the Larry O'Brien trophy was on its way back to LA. He was pedal to the metal from both ends of the floor and was there any time his team needed him.

James has had one heck of a career and it's probably safe to say that he's more than earned everyone's respect by now. ‘The King' deserves his crown and it seems like he's not relinquishing it just yet.
