According to Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, joining the famed purple and gold franchise is actually a dream come true.
How do we know this? He literally said so.
“This is kind of like a dream come true for me,” LeBron James said in the video posted below.
“You look at the Lakers, being able to be part of a historic franchise, you know, with so much history,” he added. “And now being able to partner with Magic Johnson, someone I looked up to when I was younger…and then for it to all come to fruition at this point, I think timing is everything.”

Obviously, LeBron James is good at basketball. That's the good news for the Lakers. LeBron claiming that playing for the franchise is a dream come true is good news for fans, as there remains a contingent of Kobe Bryant supporters who seem to not fully enjoy the idea of James playing in Los Angeles.
Nevertheless, with the addition of James this offseason, the franchise likely went from a Western Conference afterthought to a team that will almost certainly make the playoffs and do well in the warmer months.
