In 16 years of playing in the NBA, it couldn't be denied that Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is one of the best ever.

Above all, he has a long list of milestones that he achieved during that span. Not to mention all of the awards that he received in his previous seasons.

LeBron James is a four-time NBA Most Valuable Player, 14-time NBA All-Star, and a three-time NBA champion. He also has the distinction of being the only player in history with at least 31,000 points, 8,000 rebounds, and 8,000 assists.

On Thursday night, he added another notable feat to his career as LeBron James ascended to third all-time in career 30-point games by recording his 436th.

The NBA legend that he surpassed is Utah Jazz great Karl Malone whom he shared third place with before this game took place.

It was all worth it for LeBron James as the Lakers beat the Indiana Pacers, 104-96. In 38 minutes of playing, James scored 38 points and teased a triple-double performance. He added nine rebounds and seven assists as well.

The two NBA greats who have more 30-point games than James are Michael Jordan, who has the most all-time with 562, and Wilt Chamberlain with 515.

They are both within James' striking range as the 33-year-old has not shown signs of slowing down. Now with the Lakers, he is still expected to bring the same level of explosiveness on the court that he displayed while playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat.
