The Los Angeles Lakers looked like a junior college team from a non-descript town in Game 5 against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.

The Lakers got blown out by approximately 47684161 points as the Suns took the driver's seat in their best-of-seven series, 3-2. LeBron James and company looked listless, lethargic, and lost. Right from tip-off to the final buzzer, it felt like they wanted to be someplace else.

After the embarrassing defeat, Lakers icon Shaquille O'Neal on NBA on TNT savagely ripped his former team like a photograph of an ex-girlfriend.

“As a former Laker, they played soft, they played with no heart, played with no pride, played with no sense of urgency. LeBron James, Mr. Big Show, he didn't play great.”

Shaq also called out the Lakers' role players for not stepping up in the absence of Anthony Davis. In particular, he singled out forward Kyle Kuzma, who has been mediocre against the Suns. Shaq said Kuzma needs to drop 30 points to fill in the shoes of AD.

The four-time champion noted that the Lakers have always played with pride, especially with the winning tradition that comes with the organization. The team's performance in Game 5 was simply embarrassing.

LeBron was the only player to score at least 20 points, with Kuzma and Talen Horton-Tucker as the only other guys to finish with double digits in scoring. The backcourt duo of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Dennis Schroder combined for a staggering zero points on 0-10 shooting from the field. Andre Drummond and Markieff Morris, meanwhile, only put up a combined 11 points.

If LeBron James and the Lakers continue to play poorly, Shaquille O'Neal may have to put on his Purple and Gold uniform once again.
