Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James is pissed off after not getting more first-place MVP votes, and Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard Josh Richardson says that is not good news for the rest of the teams in the 2020 playoffs.

An angry LeBron James is indeed a scary sight. The King and the Lakers are already up 1-0 on the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals after winning Game 1 by 12 points.

Moving forward, Josh Richardson is expecting James to play even more aggressive and annoyed for the Lakers, who are three wins away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010 as a franchise.

The Lakers are 9-2 thus far in the 2020 playoffs. Since the Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks both got bounced in the second round, James and Los Angeles are the heavy favorites to win the championship at Walt Disney World.

As usual, James has been a monster in the playoffs for the Lakers. The four-time MVP and three-time champion is averaging 25.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 9.1 assists while shooting 55.2 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from beyond the arc and 72.5 percent from the free throw line in 11 games against the Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets and Nuggets.

Even though the Nuggets have erased two 3-1 series deficits in these playoffs, it would shock a lot of people if Denver can defeat the Lakers, as James and Anthony Davis are clicking on all cylinders at the moment.

Game 2 between the Lakers and Nuggets is set for Sunday, Sept. 20. LeBron and the Purple and Gold will look to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
