LeBron James doesn't get his shot blocked often. Denials against the Los Angeles Lakers star are even more scarce on jump-shots, let alone fadeaways.

But apparently Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins didn't get that memo. The Toronto-born swingman stood his ground against James, who was bumping bodies in the post. Wiggins refused to yield against LeBron and swatted away his fading shot to force a shot clock violation for the Lakers. You don't see that everyday.

Check out the strong defensive stand from Wiggins against LeBron:

The Lakers vs. Warriors play-in game is in full swing. With athletic forward Kelly Oubre out of action for the dubs, and Draymond Green deployed on another All-Star in Anthony Davis, it's been Andrew Wiggins who's drawn the unenviable task of keeping LeBron James contained.

Wiggins more than held his own in the opening quarter of their play-in tournament tilt. He notched seven quick points for the Warriors while LeBron James was limited to just five points and one assist for the Lakers.

The titanic Warriors vs. lakers matchup would determine which team nabs the seventh seed and faces off against the second-seeded Phoenix Suns. The loser would then face the Memphis Grizzlies, who survived their own play-in matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.
