Ever since his second stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James has seen massive turnover on his championship-contending teams. In fact, many players come and go as seen fit. For the 2019-20 Lakers, that uncertain status for James' teammates remains unchanged.

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times by Tania Ganguli, the Lakers are prepared to “trade anyone” on the team's roster. Well. except James and fellow All-Star cohort in power forward Anthony Davis.

From Ganguli in the LA Times:

Reports also indicate Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka is willing to trade Kyle Kuzma to improve Los Angeles.

The reporting league-wide has centered around Kyle Kuzma, who is one of the Lakers’ most tradeable talents. Pelinka has had conversations with more than one team in which Kuzma was discussed, according to people familiar with those talks. He’s a good young player who has shown a great deal of promise and who has a team-friendly contract.

The Lakers and the Sacramento Kings recently discussed a trade centered around Kuzma and Bogdan Bogdanovic. Bogdanovic is a 27-year-old wing in his third year in the NBA, shooting 38% from 3-point range this season.

This is not something new surrounding a contending team with LeBron James on it. Anthony Davis, however, is a free agent in the summer, too. However, the early indication is that Davis will re-sign with the Lakers.
