The Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves faced off Wednesday night. The Lakers' young guys in Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball connected for a highlight play for the Tinseltown team.

It was an excellent cut to the hoop by Ball. Derrick Rose went way left and he was never seen until after the play was over.

Ingram and Ball had a rough start but have seemed to be finally finding their rhythm playing next to their new teammate in LeBron James.

With a year under their belts together, Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram have developed great chemistry between themselves and it clearly shows in this play.

These two could be excellent sidekicks next to James for years to come as they enter their prime and develop chemistry with the four-time Most Valuable Player.

So far this season, Lonzo Ball is averaging 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. He is shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 41.3 percent from three-point distance.

Brandon Ingram is averaging 15.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and one steal per game. He is shooting 47.4 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three.

These two have had a lot of hype coming into this season playing with James, and it is pretty understandable why.

These two players will be crucial to the Lakers' success as they make winning plays. This is just one of the game-changing plays they will make this season as they aim for the playoffs.
