The Los Angeles Lakers will have a decision to make on the fourth pick in this year's draft. If they decide to keep it, a lot of talented prospects will be available when their turn comes. One of those options is Vanderbilt's Darius Garland. LeBron James gave him a test drive.

Garland, a 6'2 point guard, recently signed with Klutch Sports, the same agency that handles superstar LeBron James. The two were recently seen working together.

Darius Garland, a 19-year-old prospect, is one of the players the Lakers might select with the fourth pick. However, one of the biggest question marks about him is his health. Garland suffered a meniscus tear in his left knee in November and had to miss the rest of the NCAA season at Vanderbilt. He had successful surgery to repair it and seems to be recovering well. When healthy, he can immediately help solve some of the Lakers' problems, particularly their shooting struggles beyond the arc. LeBron James knows the Lakers' needs as well as anyone. Working out with Garland might have given him some insights he can use later on.

Prior to his injury, Darius Garland was shooting 47 percent from the 3-point area. He has also shown flashes of being an elite scorer, which the Lakers can't seem to get from their guards last season. LeBron James could use that in a big way.

It is still unclear if the Lakers will be selecting Darius Garland fourth overall, or if they're even going to keep the pick. But if the Purple and Gold decides to pick him this June, they will most certainly add another piece to their talented young core… a core LeBron James can work with.
