Following the Los Angeles Lakers' hard-fought 100-93 road win on Saturday night over the Memphis Grizzlies, Lakers legend James Worthy showed zero chill while giving some extra advice to rookie point guard Lonzo Ball during a postgame interview.

In a video posted to Twitter by The Render, Worthy got a little animated when he gave advice to the 20-year-old guard on being more of an aggressive scorer.

“Take it to the hole and stick it one time for me! I want you to take it in there and stick it hard, baby! I know you can do it! I've seen you do it,” Worthy said amongst laughter. “Take it in there and stick it hard, man! Stick it!”

Somewhere out there, H. Jon Benjamin's animated character Sterling Archer is yelling “Phrasing!” at the top of his lungs while Worthy gives Ball these words of wisdom.

A clip of the interview on Spectrum SportsNet last night with Worthy and Ball can be viewed below in all of its glory.

No matter how funny the phrasing may be, Worthy still makes an excellent point that Ball needs to be more aggressive this season when it comes to attacking the basket. Heading into Saturday night's game, Ball had really struggled with his shot the last six games and was a dismal 14-of-67 shooting from the field, which is roughly 20 percent.

However, he improved a bit against the Memphis Grizzlies and helped the Lakers (32-40) snap a four-game losing streak with 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting, a game-high 10 assists, eight rebounds, and one steal. On the season, Ball is currently averaging 10.1 points on 35.2 percent shooting from the field, 7.2 assists, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game in 34.3 minutes of action per contest.

Up next for the Lakers, they will look to conclude their four-game road trip with a win on Monday night when they take on the Detroit Pistons (33-40) at Little Caesars Arena.
