Before Game 1 of the 2020 Finals, LeBron James' I PROMISE School students wished the Los Angeles Lakers star good luck against the Miami Heat.

James helped open the I PROMISE School in 2018. It is located in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Per the School's website, the I PROMISE School LeBron James and his foundation helped build “provides year-round resources, access to opportunities, supportive skill development, constant encouragement and other wraparound supports to more than 1,300 Akron Public School students who have all been guaranteed college scholarships if they do their part.”

James, who is one of the greatest players in NBA history, called the opening of the school the biggest accomplishment of his career.

This is such a heartwarming video from the kids. Even though James plays for the Lakers and isn't a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers anymore, these kids in Akron, Ohio will always consider LeBron their hero for everything The King has done for them.

James is looking for his title No. 4 at Walt Disney World. He won two rings with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013 and his third championship in 2016 with the Cavs. If LeBron captures the 2020 title and wins Finals MVP for the Lakers, he'll become the first player in NBA history to win three championships and three Finals MVPs with three different franchises.

With LeBron and Anthony Davis leading the way, the I PROMISE School students could very well get their wish and see James win the title with the Lakers.
