The Los Angeles Lakers are bringing “Showtime” to Orlando.

Saturday afternoon marked the start of a full day of exhibition games at the “bubble,” with the Lakers and Orlando Magic squaring off in the first game of the day.

The Lakers' veterans provided some early fireworks.

LeBron James looked to set up the recently signed J.R. Smith with a skip pass, but J.R. drove baseline before feeding Dwight Howard with a stylish lob. Howard finished the play with a thunderous two-handed jam.

The Lakers appear to be thoroughly enjoying themselves as they prepare for seeding games.

James and Co. hold a 5.5-game advantage over the crosstown rival Clippers for the top seed in the Western Conference. They also have been playing some of the best basketball in the league prior to the suspension of play in March.

It would seem business is picking up in a hurry for the Purple and Gold as they hope to claim the NBA title in Orlando.
