Tempers flared on Sunday afternoon when the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves faced off at Target Center. During the second quarter, Lakers forward Michael Beasley had some choice words for T'Wolves star Karl-Anthony Towns as he walked to the bench.

Beasley and Towns are both known to be passionate players who leave everything on the floor. Sometimes, this can translate to a verbal confrontation, especially in blowouts.

The game was really never close, as the Timberwolves jumped out to a 35-19 first quarter lead that was never really in danger of being erased. The final score ended up 108-86 in the Timberwolves' favor.

Karl-Anthony Towns had a monster game and filled the box score, scoring 28 points to go along with 18 rebounds, two steals, and four blocks.

Michael Beasley was less influential, scoring only 11 and turning the ball over five times.

Frustration is mounting for the Lakers, who have now lost three games in a row. The team has struggled mightily on the offensive end without their two best scorers in LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma, and have dropped from the fifth seed to the eighth seed in the Western Conference in James' absence.

The Timberwolves have underperformed as well, and have been unable to put together a solid string of games to get them into the playoff picture. The team has a record of 19-21 and is currently the 11th seed.

Both of these teams have struggled, and it's not a shock to see their players vent some frustration on the court as the losses pile up.
