After going 8-8 and missing the playoffs in 2020, the Las Vegas Raiders aim to improve the roster and make the postseason in 2021. They've already been busy this month, trading away Trent Brown to the New England Patriots.

For the Raiders, they'll need to beef up their offensive line to get Josh Jacobs going next year, but this team isn't too far away from having one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. With Derek Carr seemingly locked up as the starting quarterback, the front office should be searching for one more versatile weapon to match up with Darren Waller and Henry Ruggs.

With the defense being the weakest part of this team last year, you can expect to see a plethora of new faces on the roster. Needing help at just about every position, the front office will need to get to work making upgrades in free agency and the draft.

Here are four bold predictions for the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason.

4. Draft Dylan Moses

The Raiders need some help at inside linebacker. Dylan Moses from Alabama is a bit further down on draft boards, but he's still a very talented linebacker who could go in Round 2 or 3.

Moses is an old-school linebacker who chases after the ball. He plays downhill, making him excellent in stopping the run. He finished his final season with 76 total tackles, six for a loss, one sack, and two turnovers.

Securing the front seven is the way to go when rebuilding a defense. Moses would give the Raiders a consistent run-stopping linebacker who could sub in for Raekwon McMillan until he develops into a solid starter.

3. Draft Azeez Ojulari at No. 17

Vegas enters the draft with the 17th selection, which puts them in contention for Georgia product Azeez Ojulari.

Ojulari is one of the better outside linebackers available in the NFL Draft this year. If the front office can pull through and make a big splash defensively in free agency (more on this in a minute), finding a complement in the draft would be an incredibly smart decision. Ojulari capped off his final season with the Bulldogs with 31 total tackles, 9.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles.

Ojulari is clearly one of the best pass rushers available in the draft and would provide the Raiders some youth and consistency, which is something the defense lacked in 2020. If he drops to them at 17th overall, it would be hard for this front office to pass on him.

2. Sign Romeo Okwara

It's no secret the Raiders' defense is terrible. Having only 21 total sacks on the year, Las Vegas needs to address the pass rush immediately. They thought they fixed it by signing Vic Beasley halfway through the season, however, he didn't amount to much at all. So, more proven help is needed.

In comes Romeo Okwara from the Detroit Lions. He's one of the more underrated defenders in the league, as he finished last season with 44 total tackles, 10 sacks, and three forced fumbles.

Okwara's play was disguised by the Lions' lack of prowess, but the rest of the league has taken notice of the five-year veteran. Considering he had nearly half the sacks the entire Raiders defense had last year, it's safe to say signing Okwara would lead to immediate production, which is what Las Vegas needs to compete against the star-studded Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West.

1. Sign Kenny Golladay

The Raiders' strength is their offense right now. Heading into free agency, the front office should highly consider solidifying that offense for years to come. Sure, their offensive line needs some help after the recent trade and cuts, but bringing in Golladay would create a truly dangerous offense in a stacked AFC West.

Coming off a down year due to injury, Golladay is still considered one of the best receivers in the league. 2019 was his best year with with 65 receptions, 1,190 yards, and 11 touchdowns. He didn't play much in 2020, but in the five games he played, he seemed to almost be on par with his 2019 performance.

Signing Golladay would give the Raiders' offense the firepower to compete with any team in the league. Josh Jacobs is one of the best young running backs in the NFL, and Darren Waller emerged as a top-three tight end after performing at a high level two years in a row. Furthermore, rookie Henry Ruggs hasn't broken out yet, and having a guy like Golladay on the roster would allow Ruggs to operate with less attention from opposing defenses.

Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have been aggressive in the offseason since being hired by the franchise in 2018. This is a signing that would be on par with some of the big moves they made during the 2019 offseason.
