Less than a month ago, the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder dropped, giving everyone their first look at Chris Hemsworth's Thor and the latest chapter of his journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the previous teaser gave a small glimpse of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster becoming Thor, this one has more of her in it. Along with the new Goddess of Thunder, everyone is also treated to something epic – the first appearance of Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher.

The latest Thor trailer starts with Taika Waititi's Korg narrating the Odinson's story as a space viking to a group of alien children. The scene shifts from an obese Thor to one who has toned down and about to take hold of a reforged Mjolnir, his previous weapon shattered by Hela during the events of Ragnarok. At this point, Marvel fans get a better view of Natalie Portman as the new Goddess of Thunder.

What follows are a series of scenes that gloriously depicts Jane Foster as Thor, flying around, wielding Mjolnir, and interacting awkwardly with Hemsworth. In contrast, the appearance of Bale's Gorr after comes with an ominous look that can rival even the best Marvel villains, like Thanos and Loki.

Gorr's vow that all gods will die will potentially lead to a gathering of these beings, as seen during the latter part of the trailer when Russell Crowe's Zeus appears. This adds more fuel to the idea that Marvel fans will see more than Greek and Norse gods in the latest installment of the Thor franchise.

The trailer ends with several scenes portraying Gorr as a menacing threat Jane Foster and Thor must stop, including one where he is seen destroying a planet. While details about Gorr's actual motivation in the film are scarce, his character in the comics possesses a similar drive to kill all the gods after feeling betrayed by them, which led to the loss of his family.

As compared to the first Thor trailer, the latest one has more story in it to hype up fans before its release. In any case, it's only a month or so before Love and Thunder hits cinemas and the whole story of Jane Foster's Thor and Gorr the God Butcher gets explained in full detail.
