LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers allowed the Miami Heat to steal a game on Sunday night, putting the series at 2-1 in favor of the Lakers. Following Los Angeles' disappointing performance in Game 3, James appears to be ‘locked in' ahead of Game 4 on Tuesday.

“Until the series is completed, I kind of stay on edge, stay locked in on the job at hand,” James said Monday after having a day to digest the Los Angeles Lakers' Game 3 loss to the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, via ESPN's Dave McMenamin. “Obviously, no one wants to ever lose. You hate that feeling, especially when you know you didn't play your best, and I definitely wasn't at my best [Sunday] night from an individual standpoint. So I take that responsibility, and I take that with a lot of passion and understanding of how I can be much better in the following game.”

While the Lakers let Jimmy Butler and the Heat run away with Game 3, James posted a modest 25 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. However, it was his eight turnovers that were part of the reason why he's disappointed in himself heading into Game 4.

On the other hand, Butler was historically good on Sunday, recording 40 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists. Also, it was the first time in LeBron's illustrious career that a player outscored, outrebounded, and out-assisted James in an NBA Finals game.

Throughout his legendary career, we've seen James put together memorable outings after an underwhelming game, by his standards at least. It wouldn't come as a surprise if we see James have one of his patented performances on Tuesday night.
