The Detroit Lions watched star wide receiver Calvin Johnson be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, and rightfully so. Megatron was the most dynamic wide receiver of his time and walked away from the game way before his time was done.

Well, Johnson is back, this time in front of a ton of Detroit Tigers fans as he tossed out the first pitch prior to the game on Sunday.

And, of course he wore the No. 81 jersey. His throw wasn't bad, either!

Johnson's career with the Lions was unbelievable. He finished his illustrious career with 731 receptions and 11619 yards with 83 touchdowns in just nine seasons. He was named to the Pro Bowl team six times and now his jersey will hang in Canton, Ohio forever.

Forgot how good Johnson was? Just watch below and enjoy.

Nonetheless, it is refreshing to see Johnson making his way through Detroit and the former Lions legend will always be remembered across the NFL world. He was a monster against everybody he faced and the NFL defenses were happy to see him walk away.

Perhaps Johnson has more public appearances up his sleeves, but he sure got Tigers fans excited in what has been a down year for them as they have struggled in the American League Central.
